The Hills Are Alive!
My favorite picture of Hannah, Caeden, and myself! |
It isn't every day that an actress has the opportunity to play her favorite role in one of her favorite musicals! That's why I'm so thankful for the privilege to have played Liesl von Trapp in the Beaufort Theatre Company's production of "The Sound of Music!" The show closed yesterday, and I cried when the curtains closed for the final time. I've never cried after a show before, but this one was so special and dear to my heart. I've dreamed of being in it ever since I watched the movie for the first time. Some friends invited us to a Christmas party to watch the movie, and I immediately fell in love with it. The rest of that month I locked myself in our kitchen and sang and danced to "Sixteen Going On Seventeen," imagining my crush (who so happnes to be my boyfriend now) as Rolf. Though my boyfriend did not play Rolf in our production (his friend did, actually), it was still a dreamy and magical experience. I have some photos from the production that I would love to share.
Though I'm sad this show is over, I look forward to starting the next one tomorrow! (Hint: the temperature is about to drop in this story of sisters and true love! ❄⛄)
With His Love,
