A Time for Thanksgiving

Is anybody else shocked that Thanksgiving is tomorrow? Where did the time go? Anyway, considering that this time of year is the time where everyone in every stage of life contemplates what they have to be thankful for, I thought it would be fun and hopefully encouraging to share with y'all some Bible verses from Psalms on thankfulness. You may know most if not all of them, but it still can be nice to review these reminders to be grateful. Here they are (All Scripture from the NASB 1995 edition):

Psalm 23~ The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of Your enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Psalm 28:7~ The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him.

Psalm 30:4-5~ Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones, and give thanks to His holy name. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 100:4~ Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.

Psalm 106:1~ Praise the LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Psalm 111:1~ Praise the LORD! I will give thanks to the LORD will all my heart, in the company of the upright and in the assembly.

I would love to hear your favorite verses that I didn't include! Please share in the comment section! Happy Thanksgiving y'all!
